Terrance grew up a city boy in a cornfield town in northwest Ohio. At age 3, Terrance would constantly be humming or tapping. Since then he has always had music playing in his head. With experience playing drums, piano, and guitar, and a desire for connection to people who felt like him, Terrance gigged in the coffee shop and open mic circuit of Ohio.
He moved to Boston, MA in 2011 and has found a home in the music community. For 7 years Terrance co-hosted an open mic that found its home at Smoken' Joe's, Darryl's Corner Bar, Terry O'Reilly's, and Bill's Pizzeria. Since starting the open mic and being asked to sit-in on original songs unrehearsed, Terrance discovered his true passion... helping others actualize their songs. Fueled by a desire to capture the magic that would happen with his friends, this led to his pursuit of learning audio through direct experience at one of Boston's premiere recording studios, Q Division Studios. He is now an engineer there.
Currently, he plays in two bands Jabbering Trout and Alex and the People. Though both those bands have a consistent guitar-based, rock sound, Terrance has worked with artists across the spectrum and loves working in any genre.
Really, Terrance will help in any way he can. Whether it's adjusting the chord structure, playing live drums, or just mixing the song, he considers himself a fan-first while holding himself to a high professional standard.
Terrance is currently working on a few projects at once that will be highlighted in the music page of this site when they are released. To this day, a blend of his Ohio roots can be heard in his voice and a love for soul and emotion can be felt in his playing, you can still usually catch him humming or tapping on something.
